So as a group we met briefly in Tuesdays lesson and came up with a few ideas...

Things we need to do
- look on WGSN and research into trends for this summer
- research different magazine editorials for what's on trend
- make a power point to show the end event. ( this is to be shown in class and to the manager from debenhams)

There are a few other things such as promoting our event that we need to make posters for and an email invite.

Ideas for our event
- mannequins styled up/displays/different sets and themes... We can incorporate Home wear into this aswell as women and men's fashion

- live band - the dalton girls singing group from Lancaster

- photo booth where the public can have a comedy fashion shoot with different props

- butlers walking around with trays serving food and drinks

- goody bags filled with different products

-Louise said it is important for us to use the makeup products from debenhams so as a group we came up with the idea of having a place where the customers can have free makeovers ect.. (We need to get in touch with benefit or another makeup brand from debenhams and see if they can do this for us)

As this is a charity event and we aren't thinking of having a catwalk we need to really come up with some ideas that will really draw customers to our charity event and come up with something that won't be boring...
As this is a charity event... We need to organise something that will raise money... As this is our main aim.. To raise money for charity.
It is also really important that our event is suitable for 2 target customers ... 40-50s? But also to encourage a younger target audience to shop there.

Rakel came up with the idea of creating an advert/commercial.. This could go on our PowerPoint and be one way of promoting our event.
