Sue Ryder

For this charity at the moment they are celebrating their 60th anniversary from when it was founded by Lady Ryder (1953-2013). They have organised there own special events that people can copy and organise themselves at home to raise money for this charity. On the website there is invitation templates and event ideas with themes that are open to the public.
We could maybe use there templates and ideas to help with our own event?
Let me know what you think on this.
Below is a print screen of the party kit idea.

The Sue Ryder charity gives people the freedom and flexibility to live their lives to the full.
Whether bringing comfort to someone's final days, or giving someone with an incurable illness the opportunity to make the most of their lives, everything we do is aimed at making their time with us the best it can be.
They helped16.400 people and their families.
"By celebrating 60 years of Sue Ryder with us at a fundraising event, you can help us continue to deliver incredible care."
Some of the ways your money helps:
- £6 – provides three lunches for our patients
- £60 – provides two hours of physiotherapy for someone with multiple sclerosis
- £600 – covers the cost of a Sue Ryder nurse for five days
- £6000 – covers the cost of running one of our hospices for a day
Maybe at the event we could ask the charity if they would be willing to come down to our event and set up a Sue Ryder stall where people can ask questions and sign up to more giving ect, and by this way the public would have a chance to really understand where there money is going and what it could do?
St Catherine's Hospice
http://www.stcatherines.co.uk
St Catherine's Hospice's cares for people across Longridge, Chorley, Preston, and South Ribble living with conditions that can be treated but not cured.
Also on their website they have fundraising ideas that we could get inspiration from. On the website there is an A-Z list of ideas.
Again for this i think it would be a good idea if we choose to have this charity aswell as the other to organise a stall in which a volunteer from the charities comes to the event and talks to people who are interested in knowing more about the charity and giving more.
Let me know what you all think and if we should have two charities or just one.
I really like the idea of using some of the charity logo's and colours for our very own invites and and flyers.
